HCM Summer Program Staff

We have received grants for summer positions at Hope Centre Ministries.  We are looking to hire students/youth to fill two positions.  All summer positions with Hope Centre Ministries include a portion of personal fundraising.  

Children/Youth Program Coordinator:  Providing structured respite options for youth with disabilities (Crafts/Games/ Interest-based projects/ group fellowship activities/ service projects).  The successful applicant  will be responsible for advertising, planning, registering participants, preparing activities, and securing volunteers.  Camp experience is not required but is an asset.

Volunteer/Mentor Program Coordinator :  Providing opportunities for youth/young adults with disabilities to volunteer within the community.  Past experiences have included Siloam Mission, Indigenous Family Centre, Winnipeg Harvest,  Fringe Festival, Community Gardens, and more!  This position will include advertising, planning, registering, and connecting with community agencies/groups to coordinate volunteer opportunities.

  • Summer Program Assistant positions available for high school students
  • Provide one-on-one friendship and mentoring for youth and adults with disabilities
  • 3 days/week in July and August
  • Paid positions are available for students interested in fundraising
