Job/Volunteer Opportunities

HCM Summer Program Staff

There are new job opportunities for the Summer Program!

Summer Connect is supported and paid work experience for youth (ages 15 to 29) with disabilities. This new program will allow participants to connect and engage with others in their community as they work together on different projects within Hope Centre Ministries. Through this program, participants will develop their gifts, learn new things, and impact the community.

Summer Connect will run every Wednesday starting July 4 and will go until the end of August.

Job description:

  • 4-8 hour shifts once a week
  • $11.15/hr
  • Be youth aged 15 to 29, living in Manitoba and legally entitled to work in Canada (have a valid Social Insurance Number) and have a valid Child Employment Permit if 15 years of age
  • Examples of duties would be performing various recycling tasks, packaging supplies for Siloam Mission, and more!
  • Please note: This program is currently set up on the lower level of our building. It was expected that the elevator project would be underway, so unfortunately there is no elevator for accessibility at this time. This is a summer pilot program; if the program continues to grow, accessibility will be a goal in the future.

Fill out an application form and bring it to our location at 83 Henderson or email us at if you are interested!
