How donors like you are helping expand the reach of HCM
Jennifer and her friends are just finishing up their last Bible Study of the season before we change over to summer programs. But thanks to amazing donors together in partnership with the Winnipeg Foundation, Hope Centre Ministries is planning Fall units and beginning to outline plans for 2022!
Over 50 homes are participating in weekly, virtual Bible Studies called Friendship From Home. These studies combine live teaching via Zoom with at-home participation kits to create an interactive experience for attendees. They are an engaging way for individuals to feel connected with others, meet new friends, grow in faith, and experience belonging.
Friendship From Home has expanded the program reach of Hope Centre Ministries. It is possible to include participants from outside of Winnipeg and people are attending from Gimli, Steinbach, Altona, St. Pierre, and even Portage La Prairie! Attendance is not dependent on support staff transportation, and many people enjoy the comfort and security of their own home.
Lessons include a time to WONDER together, to EXPLORE God’s Word together, and to participate in weekly challenges that help us to REMEMBER what we have learned together.
