Summer Program Support Position Available

Summers at Hope Centre Ministries are wonderful opportunities for growing, learning, and serving! Members of the HCM Summer ministry team play a crucial role in supporting the various projects and activities on the HCM summer calendar. Team members will be involved in hosting a variety of in-person programs for individuals with disabilities, creating/designing materials, preparing activities, and packaging kits for at home use.

Title: Summer Ministry Team: Program Support

Type: Part-time (flexible schedule)

Schedule: 

  • A variety of scenarios available! (i.e.: 4-hour shifts, consistent days, 2 days/week, etc.)
  • 132 hours available between June 10 and August 23 (limited evening shifts, no weekends)
  • Schedule will be determined in collaboration with the successful candidate

Hourly Wage: $15.30-$16.30/hour

Qualifications​

  • 17-29 years old
  • Faith-Oriented: A strong personal faith and commitment to helping others grow in their relationship with God
  • Compassionate: A genuine desire to support and empower individuals with disabilities
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing program and participant needs
  • Organizational/Leadership Skills: Ability to take initiative to plan, organize, and lead small group activities
  • Positive Attitude: Maintaining a positive and encouraging demeanour, even in challenging situations
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Independence: Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Disabilities: Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset, but not required
