Parenting a child with a disability is filled with joyful milestones and unique challenges. But you don’t have to navigate the journey alone. At Hope Centre Ministries (HCM) in Winnipeg, we’ve created the Parent Partners & Prayer (PPP) Group — a welcoming place where parents can connect, find encouragement, and grow in faith.
A Community of Understanding
“Hope Centre Ministries means many things to our family,” shares one parent. “But the word that comes to mind is sanctuary. Supporting a loved one with a disability can be hard and lonely. Friends don’t always understand… The PPP group at HCM is a place where parents say, ‘We get it. And you’re not alone.’”
These words capture the heart of the PPP group: a space where parents can share stories without judgment, find practical support, and build friendships rooted in faith.
