Our delivery volunteers are the bridge to connection. They ensure Friendship from Home kits reach the doorsteps of individuals with disabilities facing transportation challenges, making participation in our virtual programs possible. Last year, our dedicated delivery team brought connection and joy to over 500 people!
Program Volunteers: Fostering Growth and Connection
When you participate in Friendship from Home Bible Studies, you’re not just learning; you’re building relationships and fostering spiritual growth within our community. One volunteer shared, “I feel like I’m part of something bigger than myself.”

Our Commitment to You: We require all volunteers to go through a thoughtful onboarding process to ensure they are fully prepared and supported. This includes:
- Criminal records and vulnerable sector checks (HCM reimburses the cost).
- A short volunteer orientation video and Zoom call.
- Providing three references for new volunteers.
This process helps ensure our programs remain safe, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone.
